An exciting proposition and one which we are pleased to share... a unique and hand crafted scalloped pear shape cluster of olden hand faceted Diamonds brought together in a complete and love-ly design which charms the heart.
The ring itself dates to the latter 20th century and was perhaps crafted with family Diamonds.... the stones a 'melee' of old, old hand cuts, some of these a soft flickering pale Champagne hue and dating to the 16th century... see their high facets? Similar to 'Perruzi' style cuts, their subdued glitter originally viewed under candlelight is romance itself!
In the eye of the modern grading system they perhaps don't have the proportions or colour required to rank well, but when considering interest, personality and story; one couldn't ask for more! In every aspect there's so much to cherish.
The setting of finely beaded Platinum rests upon an 18ct yellow Gold gallery and band, again cleverly fashioned for precision and neatness. The Diamonds measure at around 0.50ct for the pretty Pear-cut and a combined 0.60ct for those to the petals all judged using a Moe and Schindler gauge.
There are no marks of origin but we believe it to have been fashioned by a very skilled craftsperson on the Continent. The ring size is a 'P' or '7.5' but could easily be altered to suit if you leave a message on your order form.
